exhibiting anisotropism (double
birefringence also referred to as a maltese cross
configuration). Only those globules composed of cholesterol esters are
anisotropic. Those composed of triglycerides do not polarize light, but stain
with sudanophilic stains - x400

ReplyDeleteBactrim does NOT contain sulfadiazine. Sulfamethoxazole crystals have not been well reported but the crystals above are sulfadiazine, not sulfamethoxazole, the sulfa drug in bactrim.
